Teachers’ Learning Scenarios & Students’ Digital Stories Environment

In order for any programme to be implemented in schools, careful preparation and Learning Scenarios need to be made to ensure the desired outcome. In the case of the CSCDE Programme careful preparation is vital since the Scenarios will be composed by school pairs/class pairs / teacher pairs, therefore several factors need to be taken into account: cultural differences, level of ICT skills of pupils and teachers, the interdisciplinary dimension and so on. At the same time they need to include activities that encourage Collaborative Creativity and create an environment of respect towards diversity. Last but not least, they need to be flexible enough to adjust to Distance Education.
The specific Scenarios will revolve around the topic: Internet Safety but the template Scenario can be applied to other topics such as school subjects, environmental issues, sport, cultures and so on. It is the scenarios that will lead pupils into creating collaborative digital stories. The scenarios will be composed in English and in the mother tongue of the teachers to be used as examples in the future. The desired impact for teachers: motivation to work n a multidisciplinary team, creation of strong bonds with Partner teachers The desired impact on pupils:Team work development, presentation skills development, English skills development create strong bonds with partner country pupils.
